TODDLER PROGRAM
Toddler teachers provide a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and materials that are selected to emphasize concrete hands on learning and to achieve the following toddler curriculum goals:
- To encourage creative expression, representation and appreciation for art
- To encourage and demonstrate sound health, safety, and nutritional practices
- To encourage toddlers attempts at language
- To provide daily opportunities for exploratory inside and outside
- To enhance toddlers physical development and skills
- To provide an appropriately challenging, safe environment for toddlers to explore and manipulate
- To foster positive identity, and a sense of well-being
- To allow toddlers to feed themselves and encourage their development of self –help skills when ready
